Spiritual warfare is real. It’s happening right now, and you’re in it. We’re all in it. We’re all involved in it. Spiritual warfare is the battle going on inside you when you’re trying to choose the right way, but you soon find yourself being tempted to take the more comfortable, scenic route.
It’s not a big showy battlefield saga, not in the physical sense that we can see the war being waged, but those quick, small moments when you make a selfish decision, or allow your envy or resentment of someone to fester, lose your temper, or give in to your greed and pride. It’s when you cannot forgive someone for hurting or deceiving you, even though you know that as Christians we are to forgive others just as God has forgiven us.
The outcome, the result of those hidden battles can be seen in our lives, and in the lives of those around us.
But here’s the thing, Jesus Christ already won the fight when He was crucified, buried and was resurrected from the dead.
Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
Colossians 2:15 NKJV

Be Prepared To Fight
In his letters to the Ephesians, the apostle Paul talks about how we can equip ourselves to fight spiritually. We first must start with belief.
You must first believe that God is in complete control over your entire life. And you must believe that our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ already defeated the enemy, Satan and his demons.
Please read the entire book of Paul’s letters to the Ephesians and to the Colossians to learn more.
Prayer
“Our Heavenly Father, thank You for rescuing us from death and hell. Thank You, that You reign over my life. Please, help me to understand what to do in this spiritual warfare and equip me to follow through. In Jesus’ name, I pray this. Amen”
