To the quiet soul, welcome

Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation.

I take nurture walks whenever I can to see beauties like this calm sunrise over the Nadi River in Fiji, reflecting the palm trees in the still water. God’s grace, like the tide, is constant even when it is quiet.

Solitary Grace is for:

Going deeper with God.

I created Solitary Grace as a quiet refuge for those drawn to slower, quieter paths of life and faith.

For a long time, I quietly carried the feeling that a hidden life was somehow a lesser one. Yet here in my small village, God has met me most deeply in the small and ordinary moments of daily life.

The world, and sometimes even the church, can view a quiet and solitary life as somehow lacking. But I have found that what is overlooked by the world is often where His presence rests most gently.

If you are seeking to go deeper with God, beyond the showy or the loud, you will find a home here. In this eremos (Greek: ἔρημος, erēmos), we are not performing. We are simply drawing near to God, our Heavenly Father. Resting in His Word, and learning to dwell in the quiet strength of His embrace.

We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.

1 Thessalonians 2:8

Perhaps one of these quiet paths may meet you where you are today.

I believe God often meets us in the hidden places. You are welcome here, just as you are.

Let’s learn to dwell deeply with God together.
