Proverbs 31 is one of the most talked-about chapters in Proverbs, popular in women’s Bible study groups, because it lays out the characteristics of a virtuous woman.
I’ve often wondered, though, if it relates to all women, since it talks about a married woman with children.

A Virtuous Married Woman with Children
Or the virtuous wife. King Lemuel’s mother teaches him what to look for in the woman he intends to marry.
The queen mother, a wise woman herself, lists virtues and characteristics she considers important for her son, the aforementioned king, to bear in mind when searching for his queen.
Are these virtues only to be found in a woman looking to marry? Or are these virtues important for all women to possess?
The Virtues of an Introverted Spinster
Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:30 NKJV
Dear fellow introverted spinster,
I strongly urge you to read through Proverbs 31 again.
Read it in the light of your life, of your status, even if you’re single.
Maybe, especially if you’re single, because the virtues highlighted there apply to all women.
Virtues like being trustworthy, hardworking, charitable, creative, and wise.
Don’t you think you can be these? Don’t you think you can live this way, be this woman?
Are there any other virtues you think your fellow introverts should have?
