Koki Nakosi is our family cat. She has grey and white stripes, with grey more prominent than the white. Try as I might, I cannot recall how or when she first came to us, or how many times she’s had kittens.

All her kittens are now living independent lives, away from her, but she’s in no hurry to visit any of them. Koki likes long naps, and lots of food.

Cats are my favourite animals. Cats and owls, though I’ve only seen an owl once in my life. It was white and it was perched on a tree branch, and didn’t seem bothered by my presence.

Do you think cats are introverts? I’m convinced they are. At least, Koki Nakosi is. But for an introverted cat, she has no trouble finding a mate. I wonder when she’ll be having kittens next.
