The warm weather brings these tiny creatures scrabling into our homes. They might look cute swanning around the garden, sashaying over leaves, but not when they’re crawling up your leg just as you’ve settled in your favourite chair.

I found this cute little one (I call her ‘Milli’) snaking over a piece of cardboard. I brushed it away, and it curled up into itself.

Did you know that millipedes are one of nature’s decomposers?

Yes, they help decompose plant matter, which is why you should not kill them. If you find them in your home, or crawling up your leg, gently carry them back to the garden.

God knew what He was doing when He created millipedes.

Do you have millipedes where you live? How do you keep them away from your home?
