Begin this new year thanking God for being you.
If you’ve worked on your God’s Provision list, you’ll know that we’ll never run out of things to thank God for.
But have you thanked God that you’re older, single, and introverted? Are you grateful that you are?
Are You Grateful That You’re Single?
Whenever any of my married female coworkers and acquaintances complain to me about their husbands, they finish their rant with don’t ever get married!Or, you’re so lucky you’re not married!
Well, luck has nothing to do with it, or with anything for that matter.
I have God to thank for that! I’m grateful that my time is my own, and I don’t have to answer to someone, or worry about getting meals ready on time.
Are you thankful that you’re single, or are you still pining away, dreaming about being married one day?
Either way, thank the Lord God that you’re where He wants you to be.
Are You Grateful That You’re Older?
You should be. Growing old, getting older, means you’re still alive.
Thank God you’re still alive! And you’re wiser, or at least wise enough to believe in the truth of the Bible, and in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
When we get older, it’s easier for us to accept our nature, our personalities, and we know what we like and dislike.
We’re older, still praising and worshipping God, still being creative, and sharing our creativity with the world.
Are You Grateful That You’re An Introvert?
Isn’t it amazing how God made us the way we are? I’m thankful that I’m an introvert because it makes me a better listener, and a better observer, and I enjoy my own company, and writing.
Sure, there was a time when I struggled with, what other people called, my ‘too quiet nature’ when I was younger, but now, I couldn’t care less what other people say because I worship God better in the quiet, knowing He made me just the way I am.
Did you struggle with your introverted nature? How do you cope now?
Thank God for making you the quiet and gentle person that you are.
I thank God for you, dear fellow single, older, introverted, creative, faithful friend. Thank you for stopping by here, for reading my writing.
I’m glad for your company.
May this New Year be one of your best one yet, and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, always! Amen
